About The way resource center
The Way Resource Center started assisting the community by serving hot meals once a week along with a weekly grocery distribution program. We were very active in passing out blankets and clothing within the High Desert Victor Valley area in California.
labor rights for all workers
The Lab or Commissioner is reminding all employers that California’s lab or laws protect every worker in the state (regardless of immigration status). All employers are legally obligated to comply with all state lab or laws including those that are immigration related.
If you believe you might qualify for immigration relief based on employment, we offer consultations to determine if you qualify for those immigration benefits and to provide important information about each potential relief.
If you are an employee of a contractor working on a home improvement project and the contractor fails to pay you, contact us immediately for assistance in filing a Mechanic's Lien on the property. The lien must be filed within 90 days.
If you are a worker or a labor partner who would like to inform workers about their rights, we can help. Additionally, if you need information on what to do if ICE shows up at your workplace, we offer "Workplace Enforcement Know Your Rights" trainings and resources.
